UMass Memorial Medical Group is seeking a skilled psychiatrist to provide coverage to our Emergency Mental Health Services (EMHS) and outpatient psychiatry group. We welcome and support applicants from all academic ranks to apply.
About Our DepartmentWe are the largest provider of psychiatric services in central Massachusetts, with over 400 faculty members working in various settings within UMass Memorial Health, the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School, and the public sector. Our department integrates clinical, research, teaching, and community partnership activities to help individuals and families recover from mental illness and addiction.
Key Responsibilities- Provide inpatient service and collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, and other professionals.
- Develop an independent research program or work on existing federally funded studies.
- Enjoy protected research time for qualified candidates.
- Hold a MD or DO degree and qualify for a Massachusetts license.
- Be board certified or board eligible.
- Sign-on bonuses and a referral bonus program.
