About the Role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Per Diem Home Health RN. As a Per Diem RN, you will have the opportunity to work on a flexible schedule, providing high-quality care to clients in their homes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care to clients in their homes, following a designated care plan and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing effective care plans.
  • Administer medications, perform wound care, and provide other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor clients' conditions, reporting changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
  • Document all interactions, interventions, and evaluations in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • A current license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
  • A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
  • Prior home care experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
