Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Frontload Driver to join our team at Waste Industries. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently collecting solid waste and recyclables from commercial and residential routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive commercial frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect solid waste and take to post-collection facilities.
  • Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and complete a vehicle condition report at the end of the shift.
  • Courteously interact with customers and/or the general public along the route to answer questions or respond to requests.
  • Clean loose trash off of truck and/or ground around truck and container that spills during dumping process.
  • Maintain and submit a DOT logbook, daily route/productivity sheet, and vehicle condition report as required by law or company policy.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired, but not required.
  • Possess valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum one (1) years of commercial driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
Working Conditions

Frequently exposed to loud noise, humidity, rainy/stormy, extreme hot and cold weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, vibration, toxic and caustic chemicals, fumes, and airborne particles. Work in outdoor environment up to 100% of the time.
