Job Overview

South College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach English courses at our Atlanta campus. As a member of our faculty team, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach English courses, including English Composition, to a diverse student population.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and success.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with South College's academic standards.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in English or a related field (Terminal degree preferred).
  • At least 18 hours of directly related graduate coursework.
  • Experience teaching English Composition or related courses.
  • Ability to teach online and on-ground courses as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching online courses.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
