Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate and deliver respiratory care services to patients, including diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures.
- Monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
- Assemble and clean patient care equipment.
- Assist with orienting and training new employees and students.
- Perform bedside Spirometry and adhere to respiratory care protocols.
- Set up and administer aerosol or oxygen therapy.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy Technician Program.
- Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Must be licensed by the state of Texas as a "Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner".
- NRP certification required for RRT assigned to Nursery.
- Ability to work nights as this is a PRN position for night shift.
