Job Title: Retail Pharmacist

This is a per-diem pharmacist position for our pharmacies located within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Philadelphia, PA.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and patient-centric pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations by covering or providing overlap for the current pharmacy manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and education to patients on their medications.
  • Manage staff pharmacists and technicians, if applicable.
  • Address knowledge gaps by increasing knowledge through education and training.
  • Pharmacy operational management and oversight.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science or PharmD in Pharmacy degree from an accredited university.
  • Required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by federal and state regulations in the state in which you are practicing.
  • Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting, 340b knowledge is a bonus but not required.
  • 2 years related pharmacy experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional patient service skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Standing for long periods of time.
  • Fine motor skills - repetitive hand motions via keyboard/phone.
  • Ability to hear, write, and speak effectively.
Work Schedule:

Various - Monday - Friday. No major holidays. No Weekends.
