Job Title: Staff Pharmacist

CPS Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Haven Behavioral Hospital of Philadelphia. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care to our patients.

Job Summary:

The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for filling orders with accuracy, checking technician-prepared products before release, maintaining the security of pharmacy and controlled substances, and entering orders and patient information with accuracy. Additionally, the Staff Pharmacist will aid in the training of new staff, update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy, and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.

Responsibilities:
  • Filling orders with accuracy and checking technician-prepared products before release
  • Maintaining the security of pharmacy and controlled substances
  • Entering orders and patient information with accuracy
  • Aiding in the training of new staff
  • Updating the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy
  • Aiding the Director in maintaining the pharmacy
Requirements:
  • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
  • Current State of Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting preferred
  • Experience working with Pyxis preferred
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
  • Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
  • Effective communications skills; verbal and written
  • Ability to work in Philadelphia with travel to the Reading and West Chester locations as needed is preferred (Travel stipend can be provided)
