Plant Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Accountant to join our client's finance team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial accuracy and contributing to cost-saving initiatives within a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Collaborate with the plant's finance team to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and presenting financial data and reports to plant management.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the annual budgeting process through data collection and financial analysis, and assist with maintaining rolling forecasts to track plant performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
  • Cost Accounting and Analysis: Help implement and maintain cost accounting systems, analyze production costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities, reconciling physical inventories and monitoring variances in inventory management.
  • Compliance and Internal Controls: Ensure financial records comply with GAAP, corporate policies, and other relevant financial regulations, and assist with internal audits and strengthen controls to safeguard assets.

Requirements:

  • A solid background in accounting within a manufacturing setting, with strong analytical skills and a proven ability to support financial reporting and cost control.
  • Experience in maintaining compliance with GAAP and internal controls is essential for success in this role.

Compensation: The starting compensation for this role is $70,000.00, with additional benefits available.
