About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Apex Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical staff in delivering high-quality dermatology and skin surgery services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with exams, biopsies, and surgical procedures
  • Obtain patient history, vital signs, and medication lists
  • Prepare exam rooms and equipment for procedures
  • Transcribe and document patient care information
  • Provide patient education and support
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and handling phone calls
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
