Job Title: Medical Assistant

Apex Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs as required.
  • Transcribe medical records and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Assist physicians with biopsies and surgical procedures.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans and medication usage.
  • Maintain patient records and charts.
  • Provide emergency care and demonstrate proper judgment and decision-making skills.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer software knowledge and medical terminology.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in a relevant field.
  • 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • 1 year of experience in Dermatology.
  • Current and valid certification as a Medical Assistant.
