As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering and setting up merchandise in customers' homes. Your primary duties will include operating a delivery vehicle in a safe and courteous manner, setting up furniture and securing goods as needed, and maintaining high performance levels by keeping within the customer time window. You will also be responsible for accurately communicating and documenting the delivery transaction with customers using a mobile device or provided paperwork. Additionally, you will unload or load product as needed at stores or warehouses and assist in the warehouse or showroom if required. To be successful in this role, you must be 18 years or older, have a current driver's license, and a clean driving record with minimal moving violations. You must also be willing and able to push, pull, and repeatedly team lift 150 pounds throughout your shift. Havertys provides masks and protective equipment to all employees and pays hourly and overtime rates.
