Job Title: Inpatient Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled Inpatient Dietitian to join our Clinical Nutrition Team at Johns Hopkins Health System.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote wellness, maintain current health, and intervene in acute or chronic illness through evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and individualize care for our diverse patient population, including patients requiring enteral nutrition and/or therapeutic diets.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare providers on nutrition-related topics.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nutrition-related policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Licensure as a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist in the State of Maryland or eligibility to apply for licensure prior to hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a clinical nutrition setting.
  • Knowledge of food science, biochemistry, physiology, management science, behavioral science, and social science as applied to human nutrition.
