Early Learning Master Teacher

Think Together is seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Learning Master Teacher to join our team. As a Master Teacher, you will play a vital role in planning, organizing, and implementing our educational program for preschool-aged children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement daily lesson plans to meet the individual needs and interests of children.
  • Provide learning readiness experiences in literacy, language, mathematics, science, social growth, and self-concept.
  • Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere.
  • Evaluate student achievement and growth using State, Think's, and district assessments.
  • Maintain records of children's progress and conduct parent conferences on children's school adjustment, academic progress, and classroom behavior.
Requirements:
  • AA degree or higher and 24 units ECE/CD (Early Childhood Education/Child Development) including core courses, plus 16 General Education units, 6 units in area of specialization, and 2 semester units of adult supervision and experience working with preschool-age children within the last four years.
  • Current certification in Pediatric CPR/First Aid and Health and Safety (16 hours).
  • Ability to work well with people and a sensitivity to the needs of children and families.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of Windows, Excel, and Word at an intermediate or advanced level.
  • Ability to correctly and effectively communicate in written and oral English.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
