Job Title: Early Preschool TeacherJob Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Preschool Teacher to join our team at Primrose School of Willowglen. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children aged 2-3 years old.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of young learners
  • Supervise and manage daily functions for a class of children
  • Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment for children to learn and grow
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective teaching team
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • 12 core unit classes with a grade of C or better in child development, child-family-community, and curriculum
  • Work experience in a licensed childcare facility as a teacher
  • Pleasant and friendly demeanor, with an outgoing personality
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
  • Must be fully vaccinated
