Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Clinical Lead to join our team at Ascension Saint Alexius in Hoffman Estates, IL. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating unit staffing, providing leadership, and ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in assigned areas.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership to ensure effective patient care delivery
  • Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support associates during assigned shifts
  • Meet with staff to plan shifts, services, and patient care, exercising independent judgment to ensure quality patient outcomes
  • Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments to ensure population-appropriate patient care
  • Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels
  • Facilitate availability of adequate materials, resources, and supplies
  • Set priorities appropriate to daily patient/physician dynamics
  • Provide input into hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluation of staff
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
  • Education: Required professional licensure/certification and 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience required
