Job Overview

The Swift Group is in search of a Senior Acquisition Specialist to provide essential support in acquisition management. This role involves working closely with program management to enhance and refine acquisition policies, plans, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support program managers in the creation of program documentation and schedules, while monitoring program progress and assessing risks.
  • Provide expert advice on the interpretation and customization of acquisition regulations to ensure the delivery of effective and sustainable systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams and contracting personnel to ensure all necessary documentation is accurately completed.
  • Assist program managers in developing critical acquisition documents, including Test and Evaluation Master Plans and Capabilities Development Documents.
  • Utilize established acquisition and financial management protocols to guide project execution.
  • Support the identification and collection of Minimum Acquisition Requirements.
  • Assist in ensuring project execution aligns with established cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
  • Facilitate responses to internal and external information requests.
  • Oversee and review acquisition documentation to ensure compliance at all preparation levels.
  • Provide guidance in acquisition and program management for various program tiers.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of twelve (12) years of combined experience in DoD acquisition management, program management, or contract management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and professional certification from a recognized institution is preferred. Alternatively, DAWIA III or PMP certification, along with an additional three (3) years of directly related experience, may be considered.
  • Experience with FACTS is highly desirable.
Security Clearance:
  • A current government clearance and background investigation are mandatory.
