Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Compunnel. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems, including power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, and transformers.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, and other electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Develop and implement proactive maintenance programs to increase machine uptime and reduce downtime.
  • Mentor junior technicians and provide guidance and direction to help them achieve their goals.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Complete all safety training as assigned by the Company and comply with all safety programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties and assignments as required by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year technical degree preferred.
  • Six years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment as a maintenance technician.
  • Promoting and conducting good housekeeping practices.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to comply with the Meritor Drug and Alcohol policy.
  • Ability to accept responsibility and account for actions.
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve problems.
  • Ability to take care of customer needs while following company procedures.
  • Ability to demonstrate conduct conforming to Meritor values and standards.
  • Ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result.
  • Ability to formulate a sound decision using available information.
  • Possess the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.
Computer Skills

Intermediate computer knowledge, at an intermediate level in working with Microsoft Windows to include: Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Education

Bachelor's Degree
