Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse and Delivery Team Member to join our team at Stauffers of Kissel Hill. As a key member of our Fresh Foods Distribution team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and delivery of products to our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain the department area, including equipment, containers, storage areas, aisles, and display cases, to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
  • Receive, open, and unpack cartons and crates of merchandise, verifying invoices against items received, and promptly clear the floor of all restocking equipment and debris.
  • Unload products from delivery trucks and transport them to the sales floor or storage area, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Pick produce and grocery orders for delivery to our Fresh Foods stores, adhering to departmental guidelines.
  • Package merchandise according to departmental standards.
  • Maintain and operate equipment, such as electric jacks and forklifts, to facilitate efficient operations.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the delivery truck and perform general warehouse and property maintenance duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Ability to successfully complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical and Drug Test, as required by DOT regulations.
  • Valid Class C Pennsylvania Driver's License.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including adding and subtracting multiple-digit numbers and units of weight and/or American currency.
  • Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
  • Frequent exposure to extreme cold temperatures due to working in coolers.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
