We are currently seeking a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist for our Matthews office.

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for producing diagnostic-quality radiographs for physicians and/or physician assistants while ensuring the safety of both employees and patients by adhering to radiation protection protocols.

  • Processes and develops radiological images, assessing them for qualities such as density, contrast, definition, magnification, and distortion.
  • Utilizes the OrthoCarolina Picture Archive Communications System (PACS) to deliver images to physicians for interpretation when applicable.
  • Maintains and performs minor repairs on radiology equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions to the Radiology Manager or designated personnel.
  • Prepares copies of x-ray films or CDs for patients, tests, surgeries, and physicians as needed.
  • Records completed radiological procedures, processes charges, and manages related documentation using computer systems as instructed.
  • Ensures cleanliness in examination rooms and stocks necessary medical and radiological supplies in accordance with OrthoCarolina policies and procedures.
  • Assists in transporting patients between examination areas and the Radiology department, facilitating patient flow as directed by supervisory staff.
