As a member of the Resource Team Clinical Nurse, you will collaborate with top clinical, technical, and business professionals across all disciplines to deliver exceptional patient care.

The Resource Team Clinical Nurse practices as an integrated part of the Penn Medicine at Home healthcare team, consistently demonstrating safe practice within the organizational professional practice model.

The ideal candidate will possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude to effectively meet standards for competent professional nursing practice, exhibiting Penn Medicine organizational behavioral competencies that reflect its mission and are embedded in the professional practice competency domains.

The Resource Team Clinical Nurse will independently provide patient care through the application of the nursing process, accepting accountability for the nursing care of assigned patients.

The nurse will demonstrate within the competency domains of Continuous Quality Improvement, Evidence-Based Practice and Research, Leadership, Person and Family Centered Care, Professionalism, Safety, Technology/Informatics, and Teamwork.

The Resource Team Clinical Nurse will work closely with the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of care across the continuum, focusing on expanding the knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized care based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational, safety, and age-appropriate considerations of assigned patients.

The nurse will seek feedback in assuming leadership roles and provide feedback for improved clinical practice, demonstrating how nursing practice impacts the organizational vision, mission, and goals and the care delivery system.

The nurse will comply with all regulations and standards of regulatory and accrediting bodies.

Responsibilities:

  • Practice as an integrated part of the Penn Medicine at Home healthcare team
  • Consistently demonstrate safe practice within the organizational professional practice model
  • Exhibit Penn Medicine organizational behavioral competencies that reflect its mission and are embedded in the professional practice competency domains
  • Independently provide patient care through the application of the nursing process
  • Accept accountability for the nursing care of assigned patients
  • Demonstrate within the competency domains of Continuous Quality Improvement, Evidence-Based Practice and Research, Leadership, Person and Family Centered Care, Professionalism, Safety, Technology/Informatics, and Teamwork

Credentials:

  • Registered Nurse - PA (Required)
  • PA, NJ, and DE RN licensure depending on geographic location and scope of responsibilities
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
  • Driver's License (Required)
  • Car Insurance (Required)

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • Other (Required)
  • Diploma or ASN from an accredited school of nursing
  • Equivalent Experience:
  • And 3+ years More than 3 + years of relevant professional nursing experience and completion of the Nurse Residency Program, if applicable
  • Infusion experience
