Job Overview

Shooters Waterfront is seeking a motivated Restaurant Server Assistant to join their accomplished team. The ideal candidate will possess a great attitude and contribute to the overall fun work environment at Shooters.

Responsibilities
  • Inform management of guest needs which may require special accommodations.
  • Show special recognition of frequent Guests.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for Guests at all times.
  • Assist the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins.
  • Remove dirty dishes and utensils.
  • Reset tables in a timely fashion.
  • Inform restaurant staff about customers' feedback or requests (e.g. when they ask for the check).
  • Present a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance at all times.
  • Inspect and ensure a clean, safe working environment, notify appropriate departments to handle deficient situations.
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Cleans and prepares tables for new guests.
  • Supports restaurant maintenance by stocking supplies and keeping a clean and organized environment.
  • Practices teamwork during all shifts and supports both FOH and BOH priorities.
  • Works cohesively with all Team Members.
  • Flexible to assist in other departments as requested.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Follows the direction of the Managers on duty.
  • Remain in stationary and mobile position throughout work shift.
  • Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training are required.
  • Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs., occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Candidates must be available to work flexible hours including morning, afternoons, evening, nights, weekends and or holidays.
  • Must possess reliable transportation.
  • Reliable, consistent work attendance is a requirement and essential function of this position.
