Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dining Room Server to join our team at Crescent Hotels Resorts. As a Dining Room Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and clear tables, stock all service stations, and assist food servers with table service to ensure total guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment, including silverware, linen, and condiments.
  • Serve guests with beverages, breads, and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary.
  • Transport all dirty tableware from the dining room to the dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
  • Ability to grasp, lift, and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 50 lbs. through a crowded room.
  • Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 150 lbs.

In order to maintain a positive guest and associate experience, your work habits should always meet and strive to exceed hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality, and attendance.

You should be adaptable to change in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones, have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job, and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something.

Safety & Security:

The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Crescent. Every Crescent associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
