Tristate Equipment, a leading custom designed crane manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. With a rich history dating back to 1959, we have established a reputation for delivering high-quality overhead cranes and related systems to various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review customer specifications and product concepts to determine the best overall solution and design
  • Design and develop 3D models of overhead cranes using SolidWorks
  • Create fabrication drawings for our shop to build
  • Collaborate with machinists and fabricators to ensure accurate design implementation
  • Develop Bills of Materials for projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in solid design in industry
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Material handling industry knowledge a plus
