Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team of engineers responsible for designing and developing custom overhead cranes and related systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review customer specifications and product concepts to determine the best overall solution and design
  • Design 3D models of overhead cranes and create fabrication drawings for production
  • Work with machinists and fabricators to ensure designs are built correctly and meet specifications
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of material handling industry knowledge and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering
  • Strong experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
