About the Role

NexGen Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Azure Architect to support IT application modernization. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and reliable Azure-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise stakeholders on translating business requirements into Azure-based solutions
  • Design and implement solutions and business applications running on Microsoft Azure
  • Provide technical expertise for architecting solutions responsive to federal mandates, priorities, and goals
  • Develop future-state roadmaps and drive consensus on modernizing applications to Azure
  • Estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives
  • Routinely interact with clients and internal teams
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in developing application architecture and roadmap in Azure
  • 5+ years of Enterprise architecture experience with on-prem and application modernization, enterprise application integration, DevOps, and cloud technology projects
  • 3+ years of experience architecting Azure cloud Solutions and application migration to Azure
  • Deep domain expertise of Azure Services commonly used in applications
  • Experience building a cloud governance plan and setting best cloud practices and procedures
Desired Skills
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and team player
