Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including OB/GYN, abdominal, and vascular superficial structures.
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Assist patients and transport them as needed.
  • Review exams, file work, and restock supplies.
  • Participate in quality assurance functions and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasonographer program or 2 years of previous ultrasound experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification in Ob-Gyn or Abdomen required.
  • Sonography Technologist License (Oregon) required.
  • Basic Life Support certification within 1 month of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience performing ultrasound exams, preferably within the last 3 years.
  • Vascular ultrasonographer experience preferred.
  • Organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning, attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making, and technical skills.
