Pharmacy Leadership Position

About the RoleThis position is responsible for managing all aspects of the pharmacy, including patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, and loss prevention.
- Patient Safety: Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Pharmacy Professional Practice: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Regulatory Requirements: Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve pharmacy operations to meet or exceed standards.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent service to patients and customers.
- Personnel Management: Lead and develop a team of pharmacists and technicians.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ordering processes.
- Financial Profitability: Drive revenue growth and manage expenses.
- Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate risks to prevent losses.
You will lead with empathy and compassion, motivating and inspiring your team to achieve specified goals. You will also identify critical business opportunities and implement solutions to drive growth and improve performance in your pharmacy.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
- An active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
- Not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization.
- Be listed on the pharmacy state license as the 'pharmacist in charge.'
- Submit required information/documents to your state PMP administrator to register for PMP access (in states with active PMP for pharmacist use).
- A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
The estimated salary range for this role is $62.00 - $77.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
