Over the years, we have expanded our services from solely electrical work to encompass mechanical, general construction, and construction management, alongside our round-the-clock plumbing and electrical maintenance services.
We have built a solid reputation as a specialized contractor, successfully executing projects for federal, state, and local governments, as well as commercial clients throughout the greater San Antonio area.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Our Construction team is in search of seasoned licensed Plumbing Specialists to meet the demands of ongoing and future projects. These roles will involve collaborating with the commercial construction team on plumbing installations, assembly of plumbing, piping, and drainage systems, fixture installations, and overseeing all construction phases from initial rough-ins to final top-outs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to effectively plan plumbing layouts, waste disposal, medical gas, and water supply systems.
- Cut, assemble, and install piping and tubing within walls and floors, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure.
- Ensure all necessary construction, safety, and traffic permits are obtained and displayed prior to the commencement of work.
- Install and repair plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and urinals.
- Utilize plumbing tools and torches to cut and solder copper, braze, and thread pipes.
- Install new and maintain existing domestic water supply systems.
- Identify and rectify issues within water supply and sanitary system lines as required.
- Repair or replace damaged drainage lines, clogged drains, and faucets.
- Install and maintain gas and liquid systems, as well as waste disposal and sanitary systems.
- Work with large piping systems, including stormwater systems.
- Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills to mentor and develop assigned Plumbing Apprentices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Journeyman Plumber license in Texas.
- Current driver's license.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction projects such as schools, hospitals, high-rises, and warehouses.
- Proficient in using various plumbing tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and comprehend specifications, blueprints, and drawings.
- Experience in site evaluations and generating bids and pricing.
- Strong understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in various building types.
- PREFERRED:
- Backflow prevention certification.
- Medgas license.
