Position Overview:

The Cybersecurity Systems Officer (CSO) is instrumental in upholding the security integrity of our information systems. Collaborating closely with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and Information Security Officer (ISO), you will manage security operations, which encompass physical security, incident response, and security education.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist the ISSM in routine security operations.
  • Oversee authorization documentation and ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Track system modifications and evaluate security implications.
  • Perform security assessments and audits.
  • Work in partnership with colleagues to enhance security protocols.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of pertinent experience.
  • Familiarity with Special Access Programs (SAP) is advantageous.
  • Background in System or Network Administration, or related fields.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.

Required Certifications:

  • IAT Level II or IAM Level II certification is essential.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
  • Capability to secure TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is necessary.
Additional Details:

This role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with a potential travel requirement of 10-25%. Please note that this position is onsite and does not offer telecommuting options.
