Hardware Development Innovator at Amazon

Job Summary: Amazon Robotics is seeking a talented mechanical engineer to join our team, responsible for developing innovative hardware designs for emerging robotic systems. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to execute product designs from concept to production, ensuring smooth product launches and sustaining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality organizations to ensure a smooth product launch and sustaining
- Design and adapt holistic hardware solutions for ambiguous problems with fluid requirements
- Exhibit role model behaviors of thorough engineering analysis and cradle-to-grave ownership
- Write functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures
Estimated Salary Range: $125,000 - $190,000 per year
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proficiency with SolidWorks Simulation or ANSYS Finite Element Analysis tools
- Experience in electronics packaging, including PCBA mechanical design, incorporation of sensors, and plastic PCBA enclosures that comply with IEC IP54
