Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Cardiac Care Unit (PCCU) team. As a Cardiac Care RN Residency Program nurse, you will work with patients who require intermediate-level care, including those with cardiac and vascular disease. Your expertise will be essential in providing high-quality care and contributing to the hospital's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients with cardiac and vascular disease, including those requiring intermediate-level care.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, and administer medications as prescribed.
  • Participate in code blue events and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
  • Less than one year of experience as a registered professional nurse.
  • Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • Other required cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS).
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree.
  • Unit-specific RN attributes.
