The specialist will undertake various reporting and reconciliation duties as assigned, making informed decisions based on provided information and established policies from the Premium Accounting Department. The department manages an impressive $315 million in monthly premiums and $3.8 billion annually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough payment research and accurately apply payments for both individual and group policies.
- Oversee daily balancing and reporting tasks.
- Review and resolve electronic payment discrepancies from banking institutions.
- Manage daily bank draft balancing and issue resolution.
- Analyze transactional data and execute necessary entries for account reconciliations.
- Address and rectify entries on the consolidated error log.
- Process add-on requests and associated payments.
- Perform system administrator duties for Premium Processing software, specifically ImageRPS.
- Support the responsibilities of the Premium Accounting Clerk I as required.
