Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware/Bare Metal C++/Assembly Design Engineer to join our team at Jobspro Staffing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop firmware for embedded systems, focusing on the Data Link layer of the OSI model.
  • Develop low-level device drivers for microcontrollers in real-time environments.
  • Implement and test firmware code for 100baseT networking protocols, including UDP and TCP/IP.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of firmware with other system components.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in embedded systems and networking protocols.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Engineering.
  • 4+ years of work experience in firmware development, or 2+ years with an MS degree.
  • Proven experience in C++ and Assembly language programming for embedded systems.
  • Strong understanding of real-time systems, low-level programming, and device driver design.
  • Ability to read and follow electrical schematics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with multiple processors and real-time code development.
  • Knowledge of 100baseT networking protocols, including ECT, Profinet, UDP, and TCP/IP.
  • Background in motion control and real-time embedded systems.
