Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler-Forklift Operator to join our team at Refresco. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload raw materials from incoming trucks and store them in designated areas.
  • Verify the count of incoming raw materials and ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Load trucks with the correct raw materials and finished goods, and verify quantities as loading.
  • Operate stand-up, VNA, propane, and electric forklifts in a fast-paced environment, maintaining certification and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Supply bottles to production lines and perform daily checks on forklifts to ensure proper functioning.
  • Participate in cleaning and maintaining work areas at the end of each shift.
  • Understand and adhere to SQF guidelines, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met.
  • Represent Refresco in a professional manner at all times and be available to work overtime when needed.
  • Comply with company policies and safety requirements, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) regulations.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and write English, as well as perform basic computer functions.
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver objects exceeding 50 pounds.
  • Qualified associates must learn to operate VNA equipment and obtain forklift certification.
