Job Title: Assistant General Manager

At Goldfish Swim School, we're looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant General Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our swim school, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and control daily operations to ensure compliance with Goldfish Swim School's standard operating procedures.
  • Assist the General Manager in fulfilling daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • Manage staff to ensure high productivity, excellent performance, and positive employee satisfaction.
  • Train and oversee aquatics department staff to provide superior swim instruction to students.
  • Provide sales and marketing training to qualified sales staff.
  • Direct and oversee private party staff to ensure adherence to Goldfish Swim School's standard operating procedures.
  • Gain knowledge and experience in the Links software to achieve a high level of competence in bookings, class scheduling, reporting, and administrative functions.
  • Gain a high level of knowledge and experience in Goldfish Swim School's pool operations to maintain a safe and sanitary swim environment.
  • Initiate and oversee workplace employee activities to improve employee satisfaction.
  • Direct and oversee the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan and all safety procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, and/or childcare provider required.
  • Two or more years of management experience preferred.
  • Two or more years of swimming instruction experience preferred.
Compensation:

$27.00 per hour
