We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Youth Care Provider to join our team at Safe Harbor Center. As a vital member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to the young individuals in our shelter.

About the Role:

  • As a Part-Time Youth Care Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for residents, promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing.
  • You will supervise activities such as homework, outings, mealtime, and free time, ensuring the well-being and safety of all residents.
  • Your duties will include cooking, house cleaning, and transportation of residents to school, medical appointments, and other activities.
  • You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, completing paperwork, and reporting any incidents or concerns to supervisors.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in childcare, education, or social services is required.
  • You must be at least 26 years old to meet state child care licensing requirements.
  • Possession of Infant CPR and First Aid certifications is necessary.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
