Job Title: Childcare Apprentice

About the Company:
We specialize in providing in-home and community-based supportive and therapeutic services for youth with developmental disabilities. Our innovative program harnesses the power of sports, fitness, and recreational activities to empower children aged 3-20. As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy the flexibility to create your own schedule based on your availability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive comprehensive training to kickstart your career in childcare, social work, psychology, nursing, or other roles within the mental and medical healthcare fields
- Offer temporary respite care to families caring for children with developmental disabilities
- Enhance the well-being of children through a creative and compassionate approach

Essential Qualifications:
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and a strong drive for professional growth
- Genuine passion for mentoring children, particularly those with special needs
- Availability during weekends and after-school hours
- Ability to handle multiple youth simultaneously
- High school diploma with some post-high school education
- Proven ability to employ creative problem-solving and conflict resolution strategies
- Experience in childcare or adult care
- Must be at least eighteen years old to provide in-home respite care
- Customer service experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Negative Tuberculin Skin Test results

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. This figure is based on national averages and may vary depending on location, qualifications, and performance.
