Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at GPAC. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including tractors, harvesters, and other agricultural machinery.
Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective repair processes.
- Document all work performed, including repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
- 10+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance, with a focus on agricultural machinery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with experience working with CASE IH and New Holland equipment.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Service Advisor software.
- Ability to lift at least 75 pounds repeatedly, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
