Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lab Support Technician to join our team at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. As a Lab Support Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of laboratory testing and results.
Responsibilities
- Perform various laboratory tests and procedures, including blood draws and specimen processing.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including centrifuges and microscopes.
- Prepare and analyze laboratory samples, including blood and tissue samples.
- Enter data and results into laboratory information systems.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely test results.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree in a life science or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of laboratory experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
