As a Maternal Nurse Reviewer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of healthcare services provided to mothers and newborns. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough reviews of medical records, analyzing patient data, and preparing comprehensive reports.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct meticulous clinical reviews of medical records from various sources, including electronic health records (EHRs) and paper documentation.
  • Analyze patient information to assess the appropriateness and effectiveness of care provided.
  • Develop clear and concise reports summarizing your findings and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address any identified concerns or areas for enhancement.
  • Stay abreast of current best practices and guidelines in maternal healthcare.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Active registration as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN), Pediatric/Family Nurse Practitioner, or Physician's Assistant in New York State.
  • Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, including obstetrical and/or pediatric care.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHRs) and Microsoft Office Suite.
