About the Role

The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in our engineering team, responsible for cloud environment administration, continuous integration, continuous delivery/deployment, and supporting our software applications. This individual will work closely with software development teams to build and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and operation solutions for critical business services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps, with experience in cloud platforms, scripting languages, and infrastructure as code. They will be responsible for implementing automation, monitoring, and infrastructure as code solutions for our cloud platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to system and network architecture designs, from POC to production phase
  • Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure as IaC
  • Improve, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement and maintain application and performance monitoring and alert systems
  • Automate and streamline operations and processes
  • Support engineers and their day-to-day activities using your environments, pipelines, and internal tools
Qualifications and Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in a DevOps role
  • Strong experience with the AWS cloud platform
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Typescript
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, and Terraform
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies, such as Docker
  • Familiar with system and network configurations, logging, and monitoring tools
  • In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
  • Demonstrated experience in cloud cost management and optimization
