We are seeking dedicated individuals to fill full-time positions as school paraprofessionals, focused on supporting K-12 students with special educational needs. This role is essential in fostering an inclusive learning environment across various educational settings.
Position Overview:
As a special education paraprofessional, your primary responsibility will be to assist licensed educators in adapting academic materials and addressing the unique self-care and social/behavioral requirements of students. You will work closely with students, either individually or in small groups, to ensure they receive the support necessary for their educational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support licensed teachers in delivering effective instruction.
- Assist students in achieving their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
- Facilitate learning through various instructional methods tailored to student needs.
- Provide crisis intervention support when necessary.
Compensation and Schedule:
This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18 to $23, with weekly pay. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours typically from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 4:30 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Qualifications:
- A high school diploma is required, along with completion of the ParaEducator Assessment during onboarding or possession of 60 college credits or more.
- A minimum of one year of experience working with children in educational settings.
- Professional proficiency in English is necessary.
- Must possess US work authorization; sponsorship for employment visas is not available.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Behavioral Technician or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) working with children.
- Previous experience in a school environment supporting children with special needs.
