Responsibilities

As a Service Technician Refrigeration Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Repairing and overhauling equipment such as compressors, water pumps, and air handlers
  • Testing malfunctioning systems and components
  • Maintaining accurate records of work history
  • Providing general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment
  • Performing preventative maintenance activities and diagnosing equipment malfunctions
  • Working on minor construction and remodeling projects, including startups of new installations
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-3 years of commercial refrigeration experience
  • Equivalent passing grade on Tek Skills Level 3 test
  • Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets
  • Good driving record and ability to work independently
  • Emergency on-call availability
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and sit/stand for several hours
