The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in achieving this goal by performing detailed machine setups, CNC programming, process improvement, and troubleshooting, as well as producing precision-machined parts.
Compensation and BenefitsThe CNC Machinist position comes with a competitive salary of $80,000 per year, including a 35% shift differential for working weekend night shifts (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM). The total compensation package totals $108,000 per year, plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate lathes with live milling capabilities
- Conduct precision measurements using specialized tools to ensure close tolerance requirements are met
- Document SPC and inspection results accurately
- Modify tooling and fixtures as needed to improve efficiency and quality
- Communicate technical advancements to the programming team to increase production efficiency
- Operate machines to produce high-quality production runs of parts
- Maintain quality standards by understanding and adhering to the Quality Management System
- Monitor and document operational issues and provide feedback to supervisors
- 2+ years of experience in CNC machine operation
- CNC Swiss lathe setup experience is highly desirable
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and GD&T specifications
- Experience with changing tools, performing offsets, and quality checks on parts
- Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with complex systems
