Dishware Specialist

A Dishware Specialist is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety handling policies and standards. Key duties include operating the dish machine, sorting and rinsing dirty dishes, and restocking supplies.

The ideal candidate will have excellent physical stamina, able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 100 lbs., and maintain repetitive motions throughout the shift.

1. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards and procedures.
2. Operate the dish machine, following manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
3. Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils, ensuring proper sanitizing and storage.
4. Restock supplies, including soap, sanitizer, and paper products.
5. Assist other staff members as needed, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
6. Maintain accurate records of hours worked, breaks, and communication of shift changes.

• Previous experience as a Dishwasher in a high-end dining establishment required.
• Current Local/State Food Handler's Training Certification required.
• Basic math proficiency and ability to read scales essential.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining focus and attention to detail.
• Able to wear the required uniform and adhere to company appearance standards.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Some college or culinary education beneficial.
• Basic familiarity with computers and calculators helpful.

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
