Job Summary:

As a Prepared Food Associate at Sam's Club, you will play a vital role in preparing fresh food items daily for our members. Your responsibilities will include following recipes, preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken, and ensuring high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area. You will also be responsible for maintaining the Sales Floor in accordance with Company policies and procedures, including properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area. Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
  • Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications, understand and plan future productions and mass productions, and adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management.
  • Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
  • Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the area, manage high exposure and expectations, and ensure quality and date control standards.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Be an advocate for the department and the club, model high-quality service and products, and execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older. Food Service experience and Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) are preferred.
