Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Oversight: Maintain precise records of maintenance parts inventory, including stock levels, usage, and reorder points. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies. Assist in formulating and executing inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and prevent excess or insufficient inventory. Procurement Management: Create purchase orders based on requisitions, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels, ensuring timely and accurate acquisition of parts and materials. Work closely with maintenance and procurement teams to review and validate purchase requisitions, specifications, and pricing prior to issuing purchase orders. Track order status, monitor deliveries, and liaise with vendors to ensure timely receipt of materials, addressing any issues or discrepancies that may arise. Reporting and Data Analysis: Produce regular reports on inventory levels, purchase order status, and spending trends to support informed decision-making and enhance procurement processes. Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities, trends, and areas for improvement. Planning and Scheduling: Oversee all maintenance activities under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager and develop an efficient maintenance schedule to ensure timely execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks. Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, with additional education in inventory management preferred. Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing setting. Strong proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and procurement software, as well as computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory control, industrial standards, and regulations related to maintenance, along with basic accounting principles. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Strong understanding of maintenance best practices, equipment reliability, and safety procedures.
