Rochester Regional Health is seeking a skilled Medical Dosimetrist to join our dynamic team at the Lipson Cancer Institute. As a key member of our Radiation Oncology department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Design treatment plans to deliver precise radiation doses to defined tumor volumes as prescribed by radiation oncologists.
- Perform calculations for accurate dose delivery and obtain patient contours from radiation oncologists.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists to design treatment plans, including planned tumor dose and maximum acceptable doses to normal tissue.
- Assist in routine quality control, including patient Quality Assessment (QA) plans and weekly chart rounds.
- Graduate of a formal training program in medical dosimetry and board-certified by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB), or eligible to take the boards.
- 3+ years of experience preferred, but new graduates are also considered.
