Job Summary:
TrovaTal is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement review.
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
- Assist with the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper accounting treatment for new revenue streams, customer contracts, and business initiatives.
- Collaborate with external auditors to support the annual audit process and address any audit inquiries or findings.
- Review and streamline accounting processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay current with accounting standards and regulations and ensure compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 3-5 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
- CPA or experience working for a public accounting firm is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
