Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Unit Manager RN/LPN to oversee the care management of a population of patients within an assigned area, unit or clinical function. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will conduct the nursing process, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the scope of the State's Nurse Practice Act of Registered Nurse licensure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
  • Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Must possess, a valid RN/LPN license in the state of New Jersey.
  • Must have, as a minimum, one year(s) of experience as a supervisor in a long-term care facility, rehabilitation and hospital or other related health care facility. Experience in long-term care preferred.
  • Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
